01 — Why Lab

We don't sell mined diamonds. Here's why.

A lab diamond is a real diamond — atom for atom.
It just leaves out the compromises.

I prefer perfect diamonds. The microscopic imperfections in mined stones put me off — and only the finest laboratories on earth can grow a diamond without them. Nature can't. A CVD Type IIa stone is the purest form of carbon there is.

I also can't stand the artificial rarity. Mined diamonds run on manufactured scarcity — by industry estimates the great majority never even sell, sitting in warehouses to prop the price up. And the money funds the private jets of people who wouldn't think twice about you.

Lab diamonds look prettier, carry fewer imperfections, are inherently conflict-free — and they reward hardworking people and brilliant minds. That's the better product.

We certify with IGI only. In our experience GIA adds roughly 70% to the cost for paperwork that tells you what IGI already does — so we skip it and pass the saving to you.

04 — Backlit Onyx

The wall five-star lobbies are built around.

Natural onyx, cut thin and lit from behind, turns translucent — the veins catch fire from within. I found the single cheapest direct supplier of it on earth. And no — it isn't where you'd think.
